Consistent Pacing and Strong Division Finish Madelyn Kern from Riverton, UT, completed the 5K Runtastic Heber with a strong performance, finishing with an overall time of 23:22 and an impressive average pace of 7:32 min/mile. She secured the top position in her age division (F30-34) with this result. Consistency was key, as she maintained her pace close to the 7:54 min/mile mark for the first two miles before accelerating to a pace of 7:03 min/mile on the third split. Analyzing the splits, the third mile showed a noticeable improvement with a faster split time, suggesting a well-executed race strategy that allowed her to push harder towards the end.
