Consistent Pace Leads to Category Victories David Nilsson showcased a remarkable performance in the 2026 Runtastic HEBER Half Marathon, maintaining a consistently strong pace throughout the race. Clocking an overall time of 1:20:32 and an average pace of 6:08 min/mile, David secured an excellent first-place finish in the M35-39 division. His split times were notably uniform, with the first four miles being completed around a consistent pace of 5:38 to 5:31 min/mile. While the initial 4-mile segment demonstrated slight improvements in placement, David experienced a minor decline in the latter half of the race. A noticeable increase in split times was observed from the 5th mile onward, with splits gradually reaching 6:59 min/mile. Still, this effort led to a 7th place finish overall out of 456 participants. Focusing on maintaining an even pace in the final miles could further enhance his next race performance.
