Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Lidia Yikalo participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, demonstrating consistent pacing with her splits closely aligned around her overall pace of 11:31 min/mile. Starting with an 11:31 min/mile pace for the first mile, she maintained her rhythm through the majority of the race. Notably, Lidia achieved her fastest split between miles 4 and 5 with a time of 11:01 min/mile, showcasing an ability to accelerate in the middle segments. Though Lidia experienced slight variability in her splits, finishing 3006th overall among a total of 4907 participants, her performance in the F20-24 division was commendable, placing 132nd out of 154 at the 2-mile mark and improving to 128th by the finish.
