Steady Improvement and Consistency in Pace Adam Julius demonstrated consistent pacing in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. His overall results indicated a strong performance with a total elapsed time of 1:28:59 and an average pace of 6:47 min/mile. Notably, Adam's split times improved steadily until mile 8, where he maintained a consistent 6:42 min/mile pace, showing control and endurance. This consistency placed him 16th in his division, M40-44, and 149th overall out of 4,907 participants. Compared to his previous years performance in this event, Adam improved by 1 minute and 38 seconds, reducing his pace from 6:55 to 6:47 min/mile. His standing within the M40-44 division also significantly improved from previous division M35-39 placements. The slight drop in pace from mile 9 onwards suggests focusing on endurance training could be beneficial for future races, particularly to maintain the excellent pacing established earlier in the race.
