Consistent Improvement Throughout the Race Shivani Sista demonstrated a strong performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. She completed the race in 1:14:09 with an average pace of 11:57 min/mile. Shivani's performance was noteworthy, as she consistently improved her pace with each subsequent mile. Starting at a pace of 12:54 min/mile for the first mile, she finished the last mile with a pace of 11:20 min/mile. Shivani placed 947th overall and 491st in her gender category among a total of 2010 participants. Her divisional placement showed progress as she finished 46th in the F20-24 division. Notably, she demonstrated significant improvements, moving up over 150 places overall, from 1162nd initially to 947th by the end. A focus on maintaining similar or faster split times during the initial stages could further enhance her race execution in the future. Shivani's continued progress is commendable.
