Steady Pace with Consistent Splits Maria Lea maintained a steady pace during the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Her consistent pacing was evident throughout the race, with mile splits predominantly in the range of 9:34 to 10:13. Starting her race with a 9:40 min/mile at mile 1, Maria kept her pace consistent through the first half. Slight fluctuations occurred later in the race, with a slower pace of 10:07 by mile 10.
