Steady Pace and Consistent Finish Alice Pham from Houston participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, finishing with a time of 1:23:24 for a 6.2-mile race. Her average pace was 13:27 min/mile. Throughout the race, she demonstrated a consistent pace, with her first mile at 12:02 and gradually slowing to a 14:00 min/mile by mile six. Overall, Alice secured the 676th position among females and 63rd in her F20-24 age division out of a total of 2010 participants. Examining her splits further, Alice's times showed a minor slowdown after the first mile as she found her rhythm. Her performance is solid, but for future races, focusing on maintaining a more even pace or slightly improving splits between miles two to four could enhance her overall time.
