Consistent Pace with Impressive Gains in Final Miles Javier Espinoza showcased a steady performance throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course in 1:56:58 with an average pace of 8:55 min/mile. Throughout the race, Javier improved his pace incrementally, dropping from an initial 9:38 min/mile to a strong 8:11 min/mile in the 12th mile. His consistent improvement resulted in a climb of nearly 387 overall positions from the third to the thirteenth mile. Javier finished 1244th out of 4907 participants, and 943rd among male runners.
