Steady Improvement in Half Marathon Performance Haley Debolt completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with a final time of 2:24:31. She maintained an impressive and consistent pace, seeing her speed increase slightly throughout the race. Starting with an 11:17 min/mile in the first mile, Haley ended with a more efficient pace of 10:13 min/mile by mile 13. Her overall pace was 11:01 min/mile, showcasing a strong finish. Haley's split times reveal a positive trend, particularly from mile 9 onwards. In her Age Division F30-34, she ranked 183rd out of a substantial field. Her overall placement was 2727th out of 4907 participants, with notable improvements in ranking as she consistently improved her pace, especially in the latter half of the race. Strategically, Haley could focus on maintaining faster paces earlier in races to capitalize on the significant improvement seen in the final miles.
