Consistent Splits with Steady Improvement Josue maintained a consistent pace throughout the 10K, averaging a 13:51 min/mile finish time. Starting with a strong first mile at 12:11 min/mile, there was a gradual pace adjustment, with the slowest recorded split at the fourth mile (15:31 min/mile). The final time was recorded at 1:25:57 for the 6.2-mile distance. It's commendable that Josue managed to stabilize his speed in the latter miles, recovering well in the fifth mile with a pace of 13:40 min/mile. Position-wise, Josue placed 45th in his division (M20-24) out of 45 and 562nd among male participants. His overall placement was 1286th out of 2010 participants. A notable improvement can be targeted in maintaining an even pace closer to the initial mile throughout the race's entirety. Building on endurance and speed could aid in achieving a more consistent performance on similar courses in the future.
