Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Allie Boyce demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Starting with an 11:18 min/mile pace in the first mile, she steadily improved her pace each mile. By mile 5, Allie had already decreased her pace to 11:03 min/mile. Notably, Allie delivered a remarkable kick in her 13th mile with a swift 8:57 min/mile split, her fastest of the race. Her overall pace settled at 10:34 min/mile by the end of the race. Maintaining a strong position, Allie finished 2457th out of 4907 participants, 797th among female runners, and 98th in her division (F20-24). She showed significant improvements in her overall placement, climbing from 2843rd place at mile 2 to 2414th by her swift final mile. One area to consider might be aiming for an even earlier acceleration. Overall, Allie had an impressive performance.
