Consistent Performance Demonstrated with Steady Pacing Ashwini Sugumaran maintained a strong and steady performance throughout the race, completing the 10K with an elapsed time of 1:23:05 and an average pace of 13:24 min/mile. Starting with an initial mile split of 12:15, her subsequent pacing showed consistency, with mile splits ranging from 13:07 to 14:27. Notably, her fastest split times were during the first and final miles, clocking in at 12:15 and 13:07 minutes, respectively. In terms of placement among her peers, Ashwini finished 86th in her division for females aged 40-44, out of the entire field of 2010 participants. While her overall finishing position was 1210th, her placement fluctuated slightly but showed an improvement during the race, peaking at the 6-mile mark. To build on this solid effort, focusing on maintaining a more even pace across all splits could lend itself to further improvements in future races.
