Consistent Improvement with Strong Finish Aayushi Goyal demonstrated a steady improvement throughout her 10K race at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. She started with a 13:14 min/mile pace in the first mile, gradually improving her pace by over a minute to 12:09 min/mile in the second mile. This trend continued with further improvements in split times, culminating in an impressive fifth mile at an 11:22 min/mile pace. Goyal finished with an overall time of 1:13:29, maintaining an average pace of 11:51 min/mile. She successfully moved up in the ranks across the board, ending in 922nd place overall among 2010 participants, and 474th in her gender category. Her placement within her age division, F35-39, improved consistently, finishing at 69th. Consider focusing on maintaining the strong finish pace across earlier splits to further enhance performance in future races.
