Consistent Pace Yields Solid Improvement Evelyn Garza displayed a commendable performance at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:57:26 with a steady average pace of 8:57 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, she improved from her previous race completion of 2:00:57, dropping her pace from 9:14 min/milea significant enhancement in race strategy. Consistency was evident as she maintained an almost uniform split pacing, with standout splits at miles 5 and 11, each completed at 8:53 min/mile. In her division (F35-39), Evelyn moved up ten places from the 2024 race, finishing 46th this time. Her positioning improved in the overall and gender categories as well.
