Consistent Mid-Race Gains Amidst a Strong Field Allyson showcased a steady performance in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. With a total time of 1:37:19 and maintaining an overall pace of 7:25 min/mile, she demonstrated consistent speed throughout the race. Notably, her 5th mile marked an impressive 7:11, the fastest split of her race, helping improve her overall standing from 301st to 286th place. Additionally, Allyson secured the 6th position in the F25-29 division, signifying strong competition in her category. Allyson's pacing strategy paid off as she made considerable gains in the middle splits.
