Consistent Strength Shown to the Finish Joann Lanh maintained a consistent pace throughout the race, completing the 13.1-mile half marathon in 2:57:56, with an average pace of 13:35 min/mile. Her pacing showed noticeable consistency in the early stages with the second mile at a strong 12:36 min/mile and remaining close to her average pace up to mile 6. She recorded her fastest split time of 12:32 min/mile twice, at miles 3 and 8. While Joann faced slight challenges in the latter portions of the race, showing a gradual pace decrease from mile 7 onwards, she effectively kept her overall place within a narrow range. She finished 181st in her F20-24 age division and secured her position as 1537th among female participants. For future races, Joann could focus on maintaining the strong pacing seen early in her run, especially in the middle to later stages, to better harness her consistent strengths displayed at the start.
