Among 4,907 participants, Diego placed 1,417th overall, 1,049th among men, and 40th in the M55-59 division. Analyzing his splits, Diego showed consistency, particularly in the latter half. The fastest split occurred between miles 9 and 10, clocking in at 8:53 min/mile. Though the race time was slower than his previous year's performance, there were notable strengths.
