Consistent Effort with Strategic Improvements Needed Vishal Sharma maintained a steady pace during the early stages of the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon. He started with a 12:12 min/mile pace and kept his mile splits within a few seconds range until mile 3. The pace began to shift at mile 4, with splits ranging between 12:28 and 13:28 min/mile for the next few miles. Notably, he achieved his fastest split of 12:12 in the first mile, showing strong initial vigor. While the overall pace increased to 13:14 min/mile, there was a noticeable consistency from miles 5 to 11, where splits stayed between 12:29 and 13:24 min/mile. However, mile 12 saw a deceleration to a slower 14:38 min/mile split. Finishing 202nd in the M50-54 division, Vishal's placement overall and within age group categories can be improved with strategic pacing adjustments, especially in the later miles to prevent deceleration.
