Consistent Early Pace and Steady Finish Hao Hui maintained a stable performance throughout the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon. Starting with a 10:12 pace for the first mile, Hao improved the pace to 9:35 by the second mile. The first three-mile stretch showed consistent pacing, with splits recorded at 9:35 and 9:37, reflecting careful pace management. Notably, Hao improved his standing in the M45-49 division by the second mile, moving from the 70th to the 57th position. After reaching the midpoint at five miles, pace slightly adjusted to 9:49. The pace began to slow down from mile six onwards, culminating in a final overall pace of 10:52 per mile. Finishing the race in 2:22:29, Hao placed well within the field, ranking 167th in the M45-49 division out of 11587 total participants. Examining the final splits, it is recommended to maintain focus on endurance to sustain pace later in the race stages.
