Consistent Early Pace with a Slight Drop in Final Third Heather Jordan completed the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:29:21, maintaining an average pace of 11:24 min/mile. Early splits showed commendable consistency, clocking 10:06 min/mile at mile 1, slightly rising to 10:13 min/mile by mile 2. This consistency was maintained through mile 3, with a split of 10:20 min/mile. Notably, Heather had strong placements early on, ranking 2889th overall and 54th in her division by mile 3. From mile 4 onwards, a gradual increase in split times was observed, reaching 12:56 min/mile at mile 12. It might be tactical to explore steady pacing strategies for the latter part of the race. Despite the slowdown, Heather finished strong, placing 3801st among female participants and 158th in her division out of 11587 total participants. Continued pacing practice could enhance endurance, particularly for the final third of the race.
