Consistent Start, Tactical Completion Alif Suhaini began the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly half marathon with a solid pace, completing the first mile in 7:19. The first three miles saw a slight pace variation of 7:19, 7:31, and 7:37, showing consistency early on. Alif maintained a steady performance through the mid-distances, managing to pick up speed in mile 6 with a split time of 7:03, which was the fastest split, and an improved placement to 133rd in his division. In the later miles, Alif's pace slightly decreased, with his slowest mile being mile 12 at 8:56. Despite these challenges, he completed the race in 1:43:59, achieving an average pace of 7:56 per mile. While experiencing a decrease in speed from the second half of the race, finishing within the top third of all competitors for his division is commendable. Focusing on maintaining momentum in the later stages could strengthen future performances.
