Steady Start with a Strong Finish Ava began her race with consistent early mile splits, maintaining a pace near the 9-minute mark for the first three miles. Her fastest segment was the third mile, clocking in at a 9:00 min/mile split pace. This consistent performance placed her 38th in her division at the 3-mile mark. While her pace slightly declined in the latter part of the race, Ava maintained determination. Notably, she registered her fastest recovery mile at the 8th, achieving a 9:15 min/mile which improved her overall position. Crossing the finish line with a time of 2:11:55 and an overall average pace of 10:04 min/mile, she closed in 163rd place in the F15-19 division. Ava's strong start and finishing segment showcase areas of potential growth where she can increase her speed endurance in mid-race intervals. Great effort!
