Strong Mid-Race Pacing Improvements Noted Laura Silsby began the 7K race at a consistent pace with her first mile split of 17:14 min/mile. Despite a slight slowdown in the second mile to a 18:21 min/mile pace, she bounced back in the next two miles with significantly improved paces of 15:17 min/mile, demonstrating a solid mid-race effort.
