Consistent Performance with Progressive Challenges Alyssa Nelson participated in the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly, clocking in a time of 3:13:36 in the half marathon. Starting strong, Alyssa maintained an evenly-paced first mile at 12:16 min/mile, positioning herself 174th in her division. Her overall pace evolved to 14:46 min/mile as the race unfolded. Alyssa navigated the course persistently and adjusted dynamically through each mile, particularly with a noticeable transition from the third to fifth mile, maintaining her position amid growing challenges. The latter half of the race saw Alyssa pacing steadily, though her pace slipped slightly in the final miles, finishing 388th in her division out of 469 participants, and 5015th among all female runners. Evaluating her splits, focusing on maintaining consistent pacing in the later stages such as during miles six and seven proved critical.
