Consistent Start and Steady Progress Jimmy executed a consistent start in the Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon with an initial split of 10:23 min/mile. Maintaining similar paces in the first three miles, he displayed reasonable consistency, although his pace slightly slowed, shifting to 11:06 min/mile by the third mile. Notably, Jimmy maintained his position for the first two miles, before experiencing a shift at mile three. In the second half of the race, although his pace varied, Jimmy managed to improve during the sixth mile, achieving a 10:49 min/mile pace. By maintaining an average elapsed pace of 12:11 min/mile overall, he completed the half marathon in 2:39:41. Placing in the top half overall and for his gender, consider focusing on pacing strategies to stabilize the later splits. This could help sustain a stronger rank positioning throughout the race.
