Consistent Start, Strong Finish Tingnan Hu demonstrated determination in her recent half marathon race. Starting at a consistent pace, her initial splits between 8:36 to 9:02 min/mile showed controlled efforts, placing her well within the top half in her division early on. After covering 6 miles, her pace was impressive at 9:13 min/mile. As the race progressed, Hu's pace decreased slightly, especially noticeable between miles 7 and 12. The tenth and eleventh miles were crucial as her pace slowed to over 10 minutes per mile. However, her strong finish in the final mile, clocking in at 10:19, contributed positively to an overall pace of 9:37 min/mile. Hu's final position was 641st in her division out of 11586 total participants. Future focus could be on maintaining early pace throughout the entire distance.
