Consistent Early Splits with Focus on Endurance Needed James Mohr-Murphy participated in the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly, completing the half marathon in 1:54:02. Throughout the race, James maintained a consistent pace in the earlier miles, with impressive mid-race splits at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th miles clocked consistently around 7:55 min/mile. The steady pacing during these miles showcased strong mid-race management, with an overall average pace of 8:42 min/mile across the entire distance. While the initial miles were well-paced, there was a noticeable slowdown in the latter part of the race, specifically affecting miles 11 through 13, where the pace dropped to between 9:07 and 10:11 min/mile. Strategically enhancing late-race endurance could be beneficial. His final division placement was 192 out of 2665, a commendable effort in a large competitive field.
