Consistent Start with a Steady Finish Claire Gregory maintained a consistent pace throughout the first half of the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon. Starting with a pace of 10:56 min/mile, she improved slightly by mile two with a 10:49 min/mile split. By mile five, despite a brief dip to 10:56 min/mile, she stabilized her performance with splits remaining close to 10:49 for the initial four miles. In the latter half of the race, there was a gradual shift to an average pace of around 11:22 min/mile. The final few miles saw pace variations, peaking at 12:28 min/mile by mile twelve but then improving to 11:39 for the last mile. Overall, Claire completed the half marathon in 2:29:01, placing 909th in her division F25-29. Maintaining consistent splits in the initial miles demonstrates solid pacing, but there might be opportunities to enhance stamina for maintaining speed in later stages.
