Consistent and Strong Finish Devon maintained a consistent pace throughout her half marathon, finishing with an overall time of 2:16:28. She began the race with a steady pace of 10:41 min/mile over the first two miles and improved her performance, finishing with a stronger 9:36 min/mile in the final mile. Despite some fluctuations mid-race, Devon notably picked up speed at mile 11, clocking a split of 9:50 min/mile, demonstrating strong endurance and a strategic pace increase towards the end. Overall, Devon secured the 5439th position, outperforming 45% of participants, and came in 922nd in the F20-24 division out of 1151 participants. Her consistent improvement in pace as the race progressed, particularly in the last few miles, is commendable. Focusing on maintaining a steady pace earlier on may help improve overall speed.
