Consistent Start, Finish Stronger Alassane Toure maintained a steady pace throughout much of the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly half marathon. The race began with efficient pacing, holding a consistent range of 9:24 to 9:31 minutes per mile up to the 5-mile mark. A slight slowdown was observed at miles 6 and 7, with splits at 11:04 and 11:05 minutes per mile, respectively. Impressively, he made a strong comeback on the 8th mile, achieving a split of 9:13, swiftly regaining momentum. In the concluding miles, fluctuations in pace became evident, particularly at mile 12 with an 11:17-minute mile split. However, Alassane closed the race with a strong finish, achieving a split of 9:29 minutes in the final mile. Completing the half marathon in 2:11:36 at a 10:02 minute per mile pace, Alassane secured 9th place in his division. Maintaining consistent pacing remains key and will further enhance performance.
