Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Travis maintained a consistent pace throughout the race, starting with a 7:38 min/mile for the first two miles. His pace slightly decreased to 8:05 min/mile in mile 3, but he regained momentum with a 7:43 min/mile in the final stretch. Overall, he covered the 7K distance in 34:02 with an average pace of 7:49 min/mile, placing 7th in the M30-34 division. Throughout the race, Travis showed persistence, notably moving from 51st to 31st in overall placement by mile 4. The consistent pacing for the majority of the race is a strong point. Monitoring split time fluctuations could further enhance strategy in similar events. The ability to regain speed towards the end is noteworthy and can be capitalized on in future races.
