Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Spencer Randall completed the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon with a final time of 1:46:30, averaging an impressive pace of 8:07 min/mile over 13.1 miles. Showing consistency, Spencer maintained an almost even pace over the first few miles, recording identical split times of 8:27 for the first four miles. Notably, there was a surge in pace between miles 5 and 6, with split times reducing to 7:47 and 8:01 respectively, which contributed to a noticeable improvement in overall race placement. Spencer displayed remarkable pacing in the second half of the race. Between miles 8 and 9, Spencer's pace was significantly faster at 7:42 and 8:03 min/mile, respectively, which helped him climb from 1762nd to 1393rd overall by mile 11. His finish in the top 15% in the M30-34 age division is commendable. Spencer could also explore maintaining the increased pace observed in selected miles, like mile 11, to enhance overall performance in future races.
