Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Kristen maintained a steady pace, starting with an 11:05 min/mile for the first mile, keeping her place overall at 461. Her pacing slightly decreased through the next two splits, with a 11:21 min/mile pace for the second mile and 11:39 min/mile for the third. This resulted in her rank altering slightly, with her overall place shifting to 534 and then to 590. A notable improvement came in the fourth split with a pace of 10:41 min/mile, indicating a solid effort to regain momentum. Kristen finished the 7K in 49:06, maintaining an average pace of 11:17 min/mile. She achieved placement of 575th in gender and 135th in her division. With attention to maintaining a steady increase in split pace like witnessed in the final stretch, further enhancements in overall performance can be realized.
