Consistent Pacing Across The Distance Major Warren completed the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon with a finish time of 1:32:27. Clocking an average pace of 7:03 min/mile, Major demonstrated impressive consistency, notably maintaining a steady pace over the first four miles, each covered in 6:52 min/mile. Variations in pacing occurred during the middle miles, with the fifth mile seeing a slight increase to 7:05 min/mile, but there was a strong recovery by mile six with a pace of 6:49 min/mile. Throughout the race, Major's place overall fluctuated slightly, beginning at 333 and finishing 447th out of 11,586 participants. In the final stretch, despite a demanding segment at mile ten, Major pulled back to finish the thirteenth mile in 6:55 min/mile. Attention to maintaining an even pace throughout, especially in the later part of the race where some slower splits were recorded, could enhance overall performance. Continuing to fine-tune pacing strategy, especially in miles seven and nine, will prove beneficial for future races.
