Notably, his best effort was between miles 2 and 3, where he achieved a split pace of 6:08 min/mile and propelled himself to first place in his division momentarily. Throughout the race, Alan's pace showed slight fluctuations, yet he demonstrated consistent effort, especially notable in the strong final kick with the 11th mile at a pace of 6:04 min/mile. For future races, maintaining the momentum observed mid-race could significantly impact his overall time.
