Consistent Pacing Achieved Zheng Gong demonstrated steady pacing throughout the Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon. Starting with consistent 8:36 min/mile on the first two miles, Zheng successfully maintained a solid pace. Notably, miles 4 through 6 showed improvement where Zheng achieved splits of 8:20, 8:15, and 8:02 min/mile respectively, reflecting strong mid-race energy and advancement. Mile 8 was his fastest, coming in at an impressive 7:44 min/mile. His finishing time was 1:49:22 with an overall pace of 8:20 min/mile. Throughout the race, Zheng's positions shifted, suggesting dynamic efforts. His best standing in the Male 35-39 division was 73rd at mile 4. While there was a temporary dive in ranking, Zheng's ability to pull back in later miles, achieving 118th in the division by mile 12, was commendable. To further enhance performance, maintaining later race speed and working on smoother transition between mile 5 and mile 7 may yield improved results.
