Strong Start and Consistent Pace Across Splits Harry executed a commendable half-marathon performance with a final elapsed time of 1:26:33, averaging a 6:36 min/mile pace. Harry notably maintained a strong segment pace across the course, including a standout split at mile 8 with a time of 6:12. This effort saw consistent placement, finishing 4th in the M55-59 division out of a large field of over 11,500 participants. At the race's outset, Harry secured the top position in the division after the first mile and maintained a strong position throughout, demonstrating a solid pacing strategy. While there was some position adjustment within the division, Harry retained an impressive rank, securing the 4th spot by the finish line. To further improve, focusing on maintaining faster splits similar to the standout performance seen at mile 8 could help in sustaining a consistent top-end performance throughout the race.
