Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Marks Performance Charles Power maintained an impressively consistent pace throughout the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon, completing the race in 1:38:33 at an average pace of 7:31 min/mile. While the initial splits were consistent with 7:35 min/mile for the first four miles, Charles showcased his strength with a strong mid-race performance, clocking a 7:19 min/mile in mile 8. Notably, he demonstrated a swift improvement in mile 6 with a 7:27 min/mile pace, indicating efficient management of pacing. Although Charles began with consistency, fluctuating paces in the latter part saw varied standings, including a peak placement as high as 705th overall mid-race. Closing with a strong effort, Charles completed his final mile with a brisk 7:11 min/mile split. For future races, maintaining the faster splits observed in miles 5, 6, and 13 could enhance his standing in overall placements. Nonetheless, the performance was stable and commendable.
