Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Hyunsun started the race with a steady pace, clocking a first mile split of 9:37. Through the first three miles, she consistently improved her pace, ultimately achieving a 9:07 pace in the second and third splits. Notably, there was a significant slowdown in the fourth mile with an 18:05 split, impacting her overall positioning. Despite challenges in the fourth mile, Hyunsun showed resilience by progressively accelerating in the latter stages of the race. Her final mile was completed at a strong 8:47 pace, contributing to an overall finish time of 2:07:01. She maintained a commendable average pace of 9:41 per mile, placing her 2044th among female participants and 512th in the F25-29 division out of 11586 participants. Maintaining a more consistent pace during the middle miles could further enhance future performance.
