Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Ryan Gilmore maintained impressive consistency throughout the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly, with each of the first four miles clocking in exactly at 7:58 per mile. Notably, Mile 5 broke the streak with an impressive 7:37, the fastest split of the race. Despite a slight dip in pace at Mile 7 (8:17), Ryan regained momentum quickly in subsequent miles, achieving an overall pace of 7:52 minutes per mile by the end of the half marathon. Ending the race in 1:43:04, Ryan secured a place of 106th in the M35-39 division. The final official pace of 7:52 showed not only consistent performance over the distance but also determination to recover from challenges mid-course. To enhance overall performance, continuing to work on maintaining even pacing and preparing for mid-race adjustments would be beneficial. Overall, a very solid run in a highly competitive field.
