Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Nicholas Salamone completed the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon in an official time of 1:50:38. His overall pace averaged 8:26 per mile across the 13.1-mile course. A notable highlight was his strong start, clocking in an 8:13 mile for the first split. During the early miles, Nicholas showed excellent pacing control, maintaining a consistent pace around 8:00 to 8:10 per mile. In the latter part of the race, Nicholas faced a slowdown around miles 7 and 9 with paces of 9:09 and 9:00 per mile, respectively. However, he demonstrated resilience with a powerful push in the final stretch, closing out the last mile at an impressive 7:51 pace. His overall placement was 2164 out of 11586 participants, which positions him well within the top 20% of his division, M15-19. Continuing to manage pacing strategies could lead to even stronger finishes in future races.
