Consistent Early Performance, Some Late Fatigue Observed Jongin Kim completed the 2026 Saucony Love Run Philly Half Marathon with a final time of 1:34:14, achieving an average pace of 7:11 minutes per mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, Jongin started strong, with a very consistent pace in the opening 6 miles, maintaining a sub-7:00 pace, notably 6:57 at mile 6. While Jongin demonstrated significant early gains, placing as high as 147th overall at mile 4, his pace slowed slightly in the latter portion of the race, particularly from mile 7 onwards with a split time of 7:47 at mile 7. At the finish, Jongin's overall placement was 556th out of 11,586 participants. Focusing on maintaining pace consistency in the later miles could prove beneficial for future races.
