Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Qinxia Zheng maintained a solid pace in the early miles, starting with a 9:59 min/mile in the first mile and staying under 10:00 min/mile up to the third mile. Notably, the first three splits were executed with less than a one-minute range in times: 9:59, 9:58, and 9:58 respectively. In the latter half, splits showed gradual slowing, reaching a peak split of 12:48 min/mile at the sixth mile. Qinxia concluded the half marathon with an overall time of 2:27:21, averaging an 11:14 min/mile pace. The finish saw her setting 7361st overall out of 11,586 participants, in her gender with 3674th out of 6,504 female finishers, and 150th in the F45-49 division. There is potential for enhanced pacing strategy over longer distances to maintain earlier momentum throughout.
