Strong Start, Consistent Finish Tina Scott from Owanka, SD, completed the 2025 Vacation Races Mount Rushmore Half Marathon in 2:30:01 with an average pace of 11:27 min/mile. Notably, she secured 5th in her division (F45-49), an impressive achievement. The first mile was completed swiftly at a 9:02 min/mile pace, placing her 5th in the Masters category and 13th among females. Throughout the race, Tina maintained a consistent pace, particularly steady from miles four through ten, where she stayed close to an 11:46 min/mile split. Her final mile, finished in 10:38, marked a return to earlier pacing, indicating Tina has strong finishing capability. Improving stamina during the mid-race portion could enhance overall performance and prevent the slight dip seen between miles seven and eight.
