Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Ross Neuhaus demonstrated a consistently strong race at the 2025 Vacation Races | Mount Rushmore Half Marathon. He maintained a steady pace throughout, starting with an 8:12 minute mile in the first split. His overall average pace was an impressive 8:26 min/mile. A notable performance was seen in the latter miles, where his pace accelerated significantly, achieving a 6:50 minute mile by the 13th mile. This strong finish helped secure him a respectable 10th place overall, 6th in the male category, and 1st in the M35-39 division. Through each stage of the race, Ross improved his overall standing by finishing 5th overall and 3rd in the male category at the 12th mile. Notably, his positioning in the M35-39 division remained firm, consistently holding first place from mile four onwards. Focusing on maintaining the quickened pace demonstrated in the latter segments could prove advantageous for future races. Keeping a close eye on maintaining early pace could ensure a balance with the strong finishing speeds.
