Strong Finish and Consistent Pace Daniel Mosias delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Vacation Races | Mount Rushmore Half Marathon with a final time of 1:48:32, maintaining an overall pace of 8:17 min/mile. Daniel secured the 5th place in the men's category and 6th overall out of 523 participants. Impressively, he led his age division (M35-39), notably starting strong with a 7:50 min/mile pace in the first mile. Throughout the race, Daniel demonstrated a consistent pace, with slight variations across splits. Notably, his pace increased significantly in the final three miles, clocking splits of 7:14, 7:45, and 7:07. The brief deceleration around mile 7 was improved upon as he found a strong cadence towards the finish, significantly enhancing his overall time. Continuing to capitalize on these finishing speed improvements could yield even better results in future races.
