Inspiring Consistency with a Strong Finish Lindsay maintained an impressive performance throughout the 2025 Vacation Races | Mount Rushmore Half Marathon. Her target to keep a steady pacing strategy was evident, especially noteworthy in her early laps where she consistently placed first in the F Masters division. Starting with an 8:46 min/mile pace for the first mile, Lindsay managed to sustain sub-10-minute miles up to mile 6. There was a brief decline at mile 7, where her pace slowed to 11:51 min/mile. However, she quickly regained momentum, finishing the race with faster paces, highlighted by her last mile at 7:27 min/mile, leading to an overall time of 1:55:33. Notably, she ranked 1st in her division, 6th in gender, and 20th overall out of 523 participants. Building on the pacing strategy of picking up speed in the latter half could be advantageous for future races. Excellent job on maintaining division leadership throughout the event!
