Consistent and Strong Finish in Mount Rushmore Half Marathon Michael Powers completed the 2025 Vacation Races Mount Rushmore Half Marathon with a time of 1:53:05, averaging a pace of 8:37 min/mile. He finished 15th overall out of 523 participants, 11th among male competitors, and secured 3rd place in the Men's 30-34 division. Notably, Michael maintained a strong early pace with an 8:00 min/mile split for the first mile, placing 12th overall and first in his division at that point. Michael's performance showcased resilience, especially in the latter part of the race. Despite experiencing his slowest mile at a 10:52 pace during the 7th mile, he impressively increased his pace to 7:33 min/mile by the 9th mile, demonstrating an excellent recovery. To build on this performance, focusing on sustaining consistent paces throughout the middle sections could enhance future results. Overall, Michael's race execution was commendable, particularly his ability to maintain a strong finish.
