Consistent Performance with Strong Finishing Jacob Palmer delivered an impressive performance in the 2026 Runtastic NEBO Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course with a total time of 2:41:26, averaging a steady pace of 6:09 per mile. Notably, Jacob led the pack multiple times, holding the top position in numerous splits. His strategic pacing is evident as he consistently maintained sub-6-minute miles, particularly shining from the 16th to the 20th mile, where his split times ranged from 5:03 to 5:19, showcasing remarkable speed endurance. While Jacob led most of the race, minor fluctuations can be observed in the later miles, with pace adjustments upwards, peaking at a split pace of 7:52 in the 26th mile. By keeping a close eye on pace consistency throughout the race, particularly in the latter stages, future performances could be even more impressive. Overall, Jacob represented Fort Bridger, WY strongly, finishing 2nd overall.
