Consistently Strong Performance David Taylor delivered a remarkably consistent performance at the 2026 Runtastic NEBO Half Marathon. Finishing with an impressive time of 1:14:07, he maintained a strong average pace of 5:39 minutes per mile across 13.1 miles. Noteworthy was his initial mile split time of 4:57, showcasing an excellent start. Despite slight variations in pace, David managed to hold a top position, briefly taking the lead at mile 9 with a split pace of 5:49. He completed the race 3rd overall and 2nd in his gender and division, in a field of 923 participants. While his splits between miles 1 and 9 remained impressive, ranging from 4:57 to 5:37 per mile, later miles saw an increase in split times, such as mile 10's 6:09 pace. Focusing on maintaining speed in the latter stages could bolster his future performance. Nonetheless, David's consistent splits and strategic pacing underscore his competitive edge and endurance.
